You can view more information about any monster by right clicking on them
This will display:
+The monsters name
+A description of the monster
+What they are weak or strong against
+Combat statistics
Knowing what they are weak or strong against (their attributes) may help you decide on what weapons or armour to use
If you choose a weapon that is strong in an attribute they are weak in you will gain more damage (see damage article)
The combat statistics are taken over the last 4 battles you have had with this monster of its current level
You can use this to determine if its worth the risk, although if you haven't battled it before you will have to guess
